Item:274018489279I have for sale yet another lovely old golden oak cased Gledhill-Brook clocking in machine/time recorder, this one dating from mid 1941, serial number 61834. The whole unit is in superb condition, the outer case having been thoroughly cleaned using Liberon Dirt and Wax Remover followed by a thorough beeswaxing to the standard you see in the photos. All the brassware has been removed and cleaned by dipping the pieces in horological cleaner, and fine wire wool buffed. The side door lock operates perfectly as does the lock for the In/Out lever. The unit can be either hung on the wall or simply freestanding. The print unit has been cleaned. I've removed the ribbon and re-inked it with blue stamp ink as it was bone dry, and now the time and day can be seen clearly when the arm at the front of the machine has been pushed down. The chain fusee mechanism is clean, has been oiled and balanced, and now it keeps excellent time as expected for a clock of this quality. The clocking in machine comes with its original winding up crank key, original front door locking key, In/Out lever key, and 5 clocking in cards. This clocking in machine will certainly be a talking point whether in your home, business, or even restaurant/pub. My last one that I advertised sold literally within a few hours, and I expect this one will do the same. It's priced sensibly due to its quality. Dimensions are 42" high by 16" wide by 12" deep. Because of the weight of the unit, it has to be collection only. As I work from home, I can usually work around a suitable time for collection.
