Item:274108945893I have for sale yet another lovely old golden oak cased Gledhill-Brook clocking in machine/time recorder, this rare one dating from the beginning of 1926 being the 13th model of that particular year, serial number 22481. This unit has the rare roof top woodwork and the makers name etched into the brass plating. The whole unit is in superb original condition, thoroughly cleaned and beeswaxed to the standard you see in the photos. All the brassware has been removed and cleaned by dipping the pieces in horological cleaner, and fine wire wool buffed. The side door lock operates perfectly as does the In/Out arm lock. The unit can be either hung on the wall or simply left freestanding. The print unit has been cleaned. I've removed the ribbon and re-inked it with blue stamp ink as it was bone dry, and now the time and day can be seen clearly when the arm at the front of the machine has been pushed down. The chain fusee mechanism is clean, has been oiled and balanced, and keeps excellent time as expected for a clock of this quality. The clocking in machine comes with its original winding up crank key, main door key, In/Out lock key, and 5 clocking in cards. This clocking in machine will certainly be a talking point whether in your home, business, or even restaurant/pub. My last one that I advertised sold literally within a few hours, and I expect this one will do the same. It's priced sensibly due to its superb quality. Dimensions are 43" high by 19" wide (top) 16" (main body) by 12" deep. Because of the weight of the unit, it has to be collection only. As I work from home, I can usually work around a suitable time for collection. If you have any questions relating to this item or any of my other items for sale, please contact me on 07758885795. No international buyers. Thank you for viewing this item.Material:Oak, Clock Type:Time Recorder Clock
