Seller: corsajim (656) 100%, Location: Derby, Ships to: GB, Item: 274109038563 I have for sale a clock for wartime collectors, an original W. Elliott mahogany cased office wall clock dating from the WW2 era. It is powered by an Elliott 8-day spring wound movement. The mahogany case and dial surround are both in an excellent, clean condition with lovely rich wood graining. The bottom hinged pendulum door and side door both work well and closed perfectly. On the inside of the side inspection door is an original label which reads "172 M.O.W UNION HOUSE, ST MARTINS LA GRANDE, ROOM 502, 5th FLOOR". The original dial is in very good condition for its age, showing Roman numerals for the main a.m hours with red Arabic numerals for the p.m hours. The original brass bezel and glass are both in excellent condition. The W. Elliott 8-day spring wound movement is clean, has been oiled, and runs beautifully, keeping very good time over a 24 hour test period. The original pendulum and key are present. Dimensions of the clock are 15" diameter by 4 3/4" deep. This clock is a very rare item, and will surely grace any wall in the house or office. The clock can be collected from my home, or I will pack the item well in a sturdy box with the clock wrapped well in bubble wrap and peanut shaped polystyrene filling for posting to UK customers only. Postage with RM ParcelForce 48 includes insurance and tracking hence this cost. If you have any questions relating to this item or any of my other items for sale, please contact me on 07758885795.
