Plastic plugs made of injection-moulded plastic, designed for sealing profiles. The end cap is made of an external part protruding beyond the profile and an internal part, the so-called core, hammered into the center of the profile. The matt structure of the upper part of the cap gives it an aesthetic appearance. Plastic plugs have a rough surface that prevents scratches in collective packaging. The lower part of the cap consists of a core and protruding "lamella". When the end cap is hammered in, the lamella adjust to the thickness of the profile wall.
The material from which the plugs are made is polyethylene - a material with universal application possibilities. Polyethylene is characterised by low abrasion while maintaining resistance to environmental stress corrosion, high dimensional stability even at low temperatures, very good chemical resistance and low water absorption. It is resistant to changing weather conditions and UV radiation. It is also characterised by good electrical insulating properties. Polyethylene is a material that is completely physiologically inert, therefore it is fully approved for contact with food.
Plugs are widely used in steel profile structures, pipes, box sections, fencing systems, some machines and devices, workshop furniture, playground equipment and other elements of garden architecture. They are used in the furniture, machinery, electrical engineering and construction industries.
