As we have learned over the course of this project, insulation is important not only in cold northern countries but also in Spain. Both in winter and summer. Thus, the house is fitted with 100mm of mineral wool in the walls and 200mm in the ceiling, which, combined with 500mm thick walls and a copy of the renowned rocket mass heater, provide a very cozy living space, making it also both ecological and economical.
