Unusual large and nice copper engraved view of Gegery in Algeria, by Olfert DAPPER (1636-1689).
In the upper right side, the list of main streets and edifices; in the upper left side, the same in Dutch.
Dapper was a Dutch physician and writer. He wrote books of history and geography.
His famous book is "Description de l'Afrique", one of the most important work about Africa in 17th century.
