Up for auction, with a low starting price and no reserve, is this Victorian bronze bun penny dated 1869. This is by far the rarest and most sought after date in the bun penny series, and specimens only in reasonable condition command hefty sums. This one is in much better condition than the clear date discs one usually sees: the legend ONE PENNY is legible as is much of Britannia, whilst on the obverse, quite a bit of the legend can be read.
Please see the pictures for condition or email me if you want a larger scan. Good luck if you bid! LOTS MORE RARE DATE / VARIETY PENNIES BEING LISTED TONIGHT!

I am very happy to accept personal cheque drawn on UK bank, postal order or banker’s draft as payment methods and items will be dispatched once cheques have cleared. If paying by Paypal, please note that Paypal’s own terms and conditions insist that items are sent by trackable postage, namely £2.00 Recorded Delivery (NB no insurance for coins on this) or £5.00 Special Delivery Next Day (insured up to £500), to a geographical address (ie. no PO Boxes). If you pay by other means, I can post as normal First Class if requested for £1.00, but entirely at the buyer’s risk. I only ship to UK addresses.
