Seller: harismedheka0 (11) 100%, Location: Oldbury, Ships to: Free Local Pickup, Item: 264648276019 An 18thC oak longcase clock, with carved square hood, with fluted columns above a long trunk door, carved with a repeat geometric floral pattern, on a block base, the 25cm square dial has raised spandrels with silvered Roman numeric and Arabic chapter ring and date aperture. The clock has an 8 day, 2 train movement and it strikes every hour. The case is 201cms in height. The clock has the inscription J L Kemp, who appears to be a clock maker from around the 1790s. The clock is designed with a single (hour) hand and it also has a subsidiary dial for the date. The clock is missing it's original key, but I can provide a replacement key which can be used to wind the clock. The clock works for a couple of minutes and then it stops. It will need a service, which can be arranged at an extra cost. It has age related marks and scratches. Buyer to arrange collection from Birmingham. If you wish the clock to be transported I can recommend the service through Shiply.com. I have used it in the past and you can find some reasonable transport providers.
