Finished in red, this Sunbeam Alpine Series V has been through an extensive recommissioning by JK Classics. The interior has received a complete overhaul which included a new carpet kit, seats & door cards re-trim in black vinyl with red piping and a new dash to finish. The convertible hood and frame have been dismantled, cleaned, repaired and refitted. A reconditioned heater motor has also been fitted. The earlier 1600cc Series IV fitted engine has undergone extensive work with all new gaskets/seals (manifold, rocker cover, clutch slave and master cylinder seals etc.) fitted, new alternator, new water pump and a new servo. A full engine service has been carried out with all fluids & filters replaced. All cables running from the engine have been replaced to avoid brittle cables being an issue.The brakes have been overhauled with new calipers and pads fitted to ensure straight and reliable braking. All electrics have been checked and replaced where needed and all dials are in working order. All front and rear suspension bushes have been replaced as a precaution and only add to the comfortable drive that this car provides. Performs well and looks stunning, this Alpine is ready to drive away and enjoy.
