1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340 V8 Automatic Mopar. Hello up for sale is my stunning 1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye. The car is in good condition throughout, details are as follows.... The engine is a 340 V8, excellent smooth running engine with great oil pressure and plenty of power, i've decoded the vin and fender tag and it is a 340 from factory so it's possibly the original engine but i've not yet checked the numbers. 727 Automatic, shifts perfect with no issues. Flowmaster exhaust system with new Hooker headers just installed, sounds amazing like a muscle car should. New engine mounts. New voltage regulator. New water pump. New ignition switch. 2 new rear tyres. Power brakes, discs on front, drums on rear. Power steering. New steering arm. Weld Draglite wheels in excellent condition. Bright red exterior, bodywork in very good condition, paint is also very good but is an older respray or possibly mostly original paint as there are a few areas that have been touched up with a pen so it's not show quality but it still looks stunning, red is also the original colour from the factory. Underneath and boot floor all nice and solid. Vin tag, fender tag and door tag all present which is great for the car's originality. Original owner's manual. Black interior in very good condition with nice woodgrain centre console and instrument bezel, the seats, carpet and headlining all in great condition, does have one piece of trim missing on the inside top of the driver's door where the window winds down. Recent import. UK registered. MOT'd until March 2018. Tax Exempt. V5 Present and in my name. So to conclude although not perfect, this is a stunning car in lovely condition, the attention the car gets when out driving is amazing, I drove the car reguarly to work on dry days throughout last summer and it's always been very reliable, prices are only going up on these cars so it's a great investment, this is the cheapest classic Challenger currently for sale in this condition so grab yourself a bargain in time for the summer shows.
