Seller: getting-thin-on-top (1,139) 100%, Location: Peterborough, Ships to: GB, Item: 143610939772 Toyota corona Mk2 estate Believed to be the last Toyota corona Mk2 estate left in the uk I do have a letter from the Toyota club regarding this More details on this at the bottom of my advert First registered on the 7th may 1978 Being sold for full restoration It comes with the old blue v5c logbook showing two former keepers The Speedo reading is only 44,000 miles on the clock ( but Unfortunately cannot be backed up ) The car starts runs and drives the brakes also appear to work But the car is being sold for full restoration and will need recovering due to being off the road for approximately 20 years The gentleman who I brought the car off had the car for approximately 35 years He worked for a Toyota Dealership and brought many new parts for the car Which have all been fitted approximately 20 years ago They are 4 new doors 2 new front wings New bonnet New tailgate New lower front valance 2 new rear quarter panels I can’t see where he’s joined them New front exhaust system New rear exhaust system ( not fitted ) He told me all these parts was genuine Toyota parts But I cannot confirm this The body Well as you just read it’s had many new panels fitted over 20 years ago All of which are rot freeHowever the car does have some surface rust as you can see in the photos The bonnet is the worst The only rot hole on the body I can see is the petrol cap flap Both The sills look good and Original with no holes There is a little scab on the passenger side rear wheel arch size of your finger nail ( not a hole ) The car also looks very solid underneath One side of the underneath of the car has been painted in a light blue oxide paint The rest is just surface rust I can’t see any holes And does look good for a 1970s car All the badges off the back and off the side of the car are in the passenger side foot wellI can’t seem to find the the passenger side indicator lens and a chrome strip for the bonnet Obviously the car will need a respray The engine It not been on the road for over 20 years and will need all mechanical parts checking Over The car will start and drive It does seem to tick over fast so obviously will need a good tune up The car starts well obviously loud to no back exhaust fitted The cars selects all gears and will drive backwards and forwards The car as a manual gear box fitted The brakes appear to work but again will need looking at due to not being used for so long The inside Needs some tidying The drives seat is slightly wornThe is no cracks on the dash board top Will need a good clean inside There is some badges in the passenger footwell for the car Spare parts There are some spares included in the sale Spare front Window screen New roll of carpet in black for the inside of the car Spare petrol tank Some new gaskets ( sealed ) Some spare gauges Tow bar Few bits of trim The car also comes with a genuine Toyota corona Mk2 parts list book ( tatty ) Workshop Manuals Owners manuals It also has its sale brochure when new I don’t have much service history Just some old recipes and some old tax discs I also have a letter date 5 June 2000 stating from Toyota club stating this is one off two Toyota corona Mk2 estates left in the uk this letter is 20 years old and have been told it now the only one left in the uk But please make your own minds up on this So there it is a solid Lots of new parts Starts runs drives and stops BEING SOLD FOR FULL RESTORATION Please feel free to ask any questions Condition: Used, Manufacturer: Toyota, Body Type: Estate
