Apart from the sporty feel the urethane bushes has eliminated the need for expensive replacement which is a known issue on the front. It has had new calipers and brake discs along with new pads, track control arms and the drive shafts have been repacked with grease. New Indicator arm. New special Battery £200 not long ago.
Recently, new tyres have been fitted. Reinforced engine under tray. The rear seats can be easily removed to create a van/covered pickup effect and therefore increasing the carrying capacity. See picture without rear seats fitted. Additional Parts fitted after purchase: The wheels are wide alloys and the tyre size is 225/45 by 17". I still have the original wheels and tyres should someone wish to convert back to them. There is also a spare 225/45 by 17 apart from the 'get you home spare'. Also: Rear spoiler. Driver's under-seat storage draw as per USA version – not standard on UK Diesel versions. Chrome fuel door. Old one retained. Stainless steel bumper trims. Stainless steel trims for the rear fog & reversing light. Stainless steel tailgate handle recess cover. Stainless steel hatchback door wide accent strip. Rear bumper step pad designed to protect the bumper from scuffs. Rear mud flaps. Machined door pins. Aluminium internal driver door inserts. New fabric Engine pulley belt – fabric in preparation for changing. Currently not needed. A Haynes Manual for this car together with a CD Manual in PDF form. Emergency Lights kit- replacement bulbs – required for continent. This car has wanted for nothing and the only reason for selling it is due to memories relating to recently deceased parents.
