2004 Renault Clio 1.2 16v Dynamique Black 3 Door

I’ve had this car for 3 years and it has served me well. This would be an ideal first car. 

It has been regularly serviced and was last done a month ago. 

MOT until 8th October.

It has a few issues that will need sorting:

The starter motor is on its way out, it still starts fine, but not always first time (this is a cheap fix, a starter motor could be picked up online or from a scrap yard for under £40).

The exhaust silencer is coming loose from the rest of the pipe (an easy fix with a bit of welding, the silencer bracket itself isn’t damaged).

Other minor issues:

The passenger seat is stuck in position, it still tilts backwards and forwards so that passengers can get into the back, but doesn’t slide, this is probably an easy fix but I don’t have the time to look at it - I believe the mechanism is just jammed. 

Foggy headlights - this is an easy fix with a headlight restoration kit (or toothpaste and T-cut if you’re on a budget).

Due to the bonnet being heavily dented the Bonet catch is hard to open - probably just an issue for my large hands.

Glove box is also broken - opens and closes fine but the bracket holding it open is broken.

Boot is quite stained - but will come up clean with a good scrub

Advisories from last MOT:

• Front Headlamp has a product on the lens but not seriously reducing light output (1.7.5a)
• Front Drag link end ball joint has slight play (2.2.B.1f)

This is the model with the sunroof, due to a leak the sunroof had to be sealed and no longer opens.

The bodywork could do with some TLC there are marks and dents all around, most are pictured above.

The Mileage is at just over 119,000 - I’ve done around 30,000 miles in it. (Mileage will increase slightly as its still being used).

The tyres are all fine and so is the spare - the alloys are quite pitted and marked but still look smart.

It comes with a Sony radio which has USB and AUX input, it also has upgraded speakers which sound very good. 

Tidy and clean interior.

It's quite nice to drive for a little car and is quite nippy.

Since I’ve had it I’ve had a number of things done:

New crankshaft sensor

New drive belt

New washer pump

New windscreen 

New front coils

All new tyres about 20 months ago

All the wipers are only a few months old

Overall with a bit of love, this would be a perfect first car or a little runaround.
