It has assay marks for London County Council. The outside of the measure is stamped "HALF PINT". The inside has a crown, below which is a VR 360 LCC assay mark. The measure is a former museum piece and has a small 30/60 museum mark to its base (it came from the Church Farm Museum in London). It dates from c. 1879 - 1901 and is approximately four and a half inches high. Three and three quarter inch Victorian dry measure: this Victorian dry measure was hand made during the latter half of the 19th century and is approximately three and three quarter inches high.It has assay marks to the inside of the measure . These include a crown, below which is a V2R and a cross surrounded by a box assay mark. It is a former museum piece, coming originally from London's Church Farm Museum, and has a small museum number to its base (number "30/61"). Four and a half inch Victorian half-pint dry measure: This Victorian half-pint dry measure was hand made during the latter half of the 19th century.It has assay marks for London County Council. The outside of the measure is stamped "VR 523 LCC" (with a crown between the "V" and "R") and "HALF PINT". The inside has a crown, below which is a VR 523 LCC assay mark. It dates from c. 1879 - 1901 and is approximately four and a half inches high. The measure is hand made and there is a saw mark below the handle, which I assume dates from when the measure was made.
