Seller: jmupton2000 ✉️ (6,222) 100%, Location: Bognor Regis, GB, Ships to: GB, Item: 273805143971 4 x OO Scale Vintage Style Danger Don't Touch Conductor Rail Signs - BTC Version. 4 x OO Scale Vintage Style 'Danger Don't Touch Conductor Rail' Signs (British Transport Commission Version) Following on from my successful Network Rail Access Point Information and other related line side signs (available via separate listings, see my ‘Other Items For Sale’ for more details) I have now started to produce some more vintage signs, these being the distinctive red lettered 'DANGER - DON'T TOUCH CONDUCTOR RAILS' used in various variations across the third rail electrified area of British Railways and its predecessors since the late 1920's. These have been created from reference to photographs of the originals from which new artwork has been drawn up using the correct fonts (which did vary both between different signs and also on the signs themselves!) in four different versions.  This is the BRITISH TRANSPORT COMMISSION version in use from the late 1940's onwards and still to be found in use into the 1960's. BRITISH RAILWAYS, THE RAILWAY EXECUTIVE and SOUTHERN RAILWAY versions are also available in other listings. These are to OO scale and as with all my sign products, they are printed and mounted on card and the face protected with clear sticky back plastic replicating the shiny finish of the prototype. You will receive four of these signs which will be carefully packed and posted to you by 2nd Class Post within forty eight hours of ordering. If you would like these produced in another scale or alternatively would like some signs custom made to your requirements for your model railway, please do not hesitate to get in touch and I will see what I can do.
