Dee Bow and Hex shackles

Description

Our shackles are made from 316 A4 marine grade stainless steel. So they are ready for the most harsh salt water environments. 

If you require these for heavy lifting or climbing purposes , I would recommend obtaining CE / UIAA certified carabiners. Ours are not certified. Just manufacturer breaking tests.  These are perfect for , boating, kayaking, swings, animal leads, hanging, crafts, sports, DIY, key rings, lanyards etc.... So how this listing works. 

  • You choose the type of shackle you require (Standard, hex or bow)
  • Then choose your size (4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm or 10mm)
  • Then you choose your quantity

Why use A4 316 Stainless steel. Grade 316 has a better resistance to chemicals and chlorides (like salt) than grade 304 stainless steel. When it comes to applications with chlorinated solutions or exposure to salt, grade 316 stainless steel is considered superior. W hich makes it a good choice for high-saline environments (i.e., coastal regions and areas where de-icing is used) and industrial applications involving chemical processes. Grade 316 stainless steel is ideal for medical applications where high tensile strength is required or that involve regular exposure to corrosive elements like chemicals, water, or bodily fluids. The difference between 304 and 316 stainless steel is that 316 contains molybdenum, which enhances corrosion resistance, while 304 does not.
