A LARGE MID-CENTURY ASYMMETRIC MIRROR WITH BLACK GLASS BORDER. A large and very stylish mid-century mirror from Italy of an asymmetric form with a black glass border on the same plane as the mirror, its shape redolent of certain electric guitars of the 1950’s-60’s era. The mirror is secured to the black frame with four convex chromed metal studs. A very quirky and funky mirror and frame, purchased in Italy, similar in style to designs by Ettore Sottsass and Gio Ponti.  In very good vintage condition, no scratches or marks to the mirror and frame. There is one minuscule ‘flea bite’ to the black border at the bottom left hand corner which measures 2.5 millimetres. Please zoom in on all of the photographs, which are part of the description.
