A PAIR OF VICTORIAN BATISTE SPLIT CROTCH DRAWERS WITH BEAUTIFUL HAND EMBROIDERY. A pair of Victorian batiste or fine lawn split crotch drawers with beautiful hand embroidery around the legs. The drawers belonged to Julia Benjamin, in the 1880s - 90s and were handed down directly through the Benjamin family. The quality of the embroidery is excellent, so the drawers may be French. There are hand embroidered initials 'JB', on the waist band. The drawers are 37" (94cm) wide around the waist and have a tape to gather them to the waist. They are 21 1/2" (54.5cm) long and in very good vintage condition. I am happy to post abroad and always combine postage where ever possible. I have other linen and lace listed.
