Item:303067067529A Stunning 1920s 12 inch School clock - Fusee GWO. Here i have a 12 inch dial School/Railway clock. The bottom door for the pendulum is not right and needs attention please see the photos. This needs TLC but is a great piece and very rare example by this maker. The pendulum and key which look to be original, are also in very original condition. The original heavy metal light cream dial supporting the movement has crazing and is totally original. The brass bezel looks great and , shows off the stunningly bold Roman numerals Don’t miss your opportunity to obtain an excellent working example of this clock in need of TLC remember but a classic timepiece. Please also call me if required 07841910952. Mathais Bauerle was from St. Georgen in the Black Forest region of Germany. His Business started as a small home operation founded in 1863. Changed to a large scale assembly plant for clock movements for all mantel and hall in 1880. A little before 1922 Bauerle regestered a trade name of "PEERLESS" as a maker of clocks, mechanical calcualtor, technical clocks and pocket watches. In 1924 he registered the trade maker of "EMBEE" as maker of all types of clocks and mechanical office equipment which was registered for an unknown reason in 1938. In 1930 Herr Bauerle, also registered the trade name "Rheingold-Gong for strike-gong system".
