Equipped with gas cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, all crockery etc , TV with DVD player and gas fire in the lounge. All bed linen is provided and gas & electricity is included in the price which if you compare against the cost of pitching your own tent or caravan at one of the camp sites on Anglesey represents excellent value for money. Located less than 10 minutes from the Britannia Bridge and a few minutes from Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. Ideally situated for the attractions of the Isle ofAnglesey, the North Wales Coast, Snowdonia or maybe a day trip to Dublin. A pet is welcome but due to the possibility of livestock in the adjoining fields must be under control at all times, bedding must be provided and not allowed onto seating or beds. The location is most suited to couples or families (max 4 adults) rather than single sex groups who should make contact before booking. Other weeks and a second caravan at the same location may be available, if interested please ask for details. There are lots of things to do and see in the area both indoor and outdoor. Anglesey has many good beaches and walking opportunities include the 125mile coastal path. One particular 'Must See' is Parys Mountain, Almwch, where 18th & 19th Century copper mining has left a bizarre landscape featured in TV programs such as Dr Who, It's not rocket science, Extreme Archaeology and films including Mortal Kombat 2. There is a self guided (free) tour which can be undertaken anytime and for those more adventurous, a visit underground can be arranged with the Parys Underground Group, generally on Wednesday evenings where evidence of Bronze Age mining can be seen. Away from the island, the Village of Llanberis approx. 20 minutes away has the Slate museum, Electric Mountain (Dinorwig Hydro power station) and of course you can set off on foot (or the train) to the summit of Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales (& England). For those seeking even more adrenalin raising activities, the village of Bethesda, 30 minutes away is home to Europes longest (and the worlds fastest!) Zip wire. A little further away is Blaenau Ffestiniog where you will find various attractions including a narrow gauge railway and more zip wires and trampolines sited underground in old slate mines.
