MODERNIST ART DECO U - SHAPE BODY THREE PIECE STERLING SILVER TEA SET     The teapot has a carved wood handle and finial Strong stylish Art Deco Design , Not the typical design i haven't seen this pattern before Fully Hallmarked for Sheffield 1942. Maker Henry Atkins   Each piece is stamped underneath with a Registered pattern number No 654263 this is the designers registration. Good heavy gauge appears to have had little use , feels lovely and solid to hold Dimensions: Teapot from handle to spout just over 11inches or 28cms                      : Height to top of finial 5 1/4 inches or 13.5cms                       : Sugar handle to handle 6 7/8 inches  or 17cms                      : Cream Jug just over 4 inches or 10.7cms Weight : 933 grams  30 ozs gross  Hallmarked clearly with makers initials H.A. for Henry Atkins, Crown for Sheffield Assay Office and Lion for  Sterling Silver Standard. and Date letter Z for 1942. In excellent original condition.  No damage, bruises or repairs.  Free from any engraved presentation inscriptions or monograms. Ready to use right away.
