Spiralled columns with ornate brass pillar caps, coloured enamel and brass inlay to both base and top. The movement is by Japy Freres & Cie, Medaille d'Honneur 1955 this is an eight-day striking movement, a steel bell is struck half hourly and with the hours - all working fine. The clock has what appears to be a gilded bronze face surround with a ceramic dial(age related marks) a pair of fine steel hands and finished with a beautiful brass and steel pendulum.
