This very attractive Heal's small oak folding table is very much an Arts & Crafts period piece but clearly demonstrates how the movement was influenced by 17th century and earlier designs and construction methods The table consists of a circular planked top supported by a hinged 'X' frame of four balluster turned legs - which when closed allows the table to fold flat for convenient storage. CONDITION:  The table is in good antique condition with only expected patinated wear consistent with its age. The folding action functions correctly both for the top and legs. The underside of the top has the original 'Heal & Son London' ivorine inset disc.  DIMENSIONS: Diameter of top 27 inches (68.5cms). Height to surface of top when open for use 27 inches (68.5cms).
