British Made Brass Gravity Clock: the glass face with painted numbers is 3 ″ wide. Inside is a pendulum with brass ball on a suspension similar to a swing clock, a brass gear is behind it. The clock is wound by pulling it up on the 2 brass rods and it is working. It is marked British Make, Pat 15238/19. The glass is cracked as shown. There is a little paint loss to some of the numerals. The clock is being sold as in need of restoration/attn/repair. Please be aware when bidding. Dial is painted on the glass, so you have visible workings. Pendulum has Brass Balls at both ends, and that is an unusual feature, except on Gravity Clocks! Serial no.11557 is on one of the uprights. Probably made by Watson and Webb Approx 9″ tall Weighs 1.9 Kilos Measues 23cm tall, 10cm at widest and the Dial is 8cm across. All approximate measurements.
