* This is a pre-owned antique item with very visible signs of age and use. From the odd ding to the patina of the brass and the condition of the book that has been taped and re-taped at the spine.
This is an interesting donation that could date back as far as the late 19th century. The old battered brown suitcase has seen better days but we have included it as they all came in together and we are a bit sentimental like that! The brass bugle is stamped CHURCH LADS BRIGADE, FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT, ALDWYCH HOUSE LONDON.W.C. While the silver mouthpiece displays the Ministry Of Defence Military arrow. The Wallis Army Book of Bugle Calls With Words was found inside the case and potentially dates back to 1915. The bugle measures 38 cm long not including the mouthpiece and is adorned with a bottle green bugle cord and tassels. The Church Lads Brigade will be celebrating their 125th anniversary in October so this is a perfect gift for anyone involved.*We are a charity and not professional graders, however, we always do our best to be as accurate and honest as possible - please pay close attention to the photograph's as the item you see is always the item you will receive.
