Seller: corsajim (409) 100%, Location: Derby, Ships to: Free Local Pickup, Item: 272449470708 Details: I have for sale a beautiful station clock which I would say dates form around the 1920s. The clock has been cleaned with Liberon beeswax and turpentine to bring the case and dial surround up to a very nice, clean standard again. A new brass bezel and glass have been fitted as the original one was badly cracked and part broken. The 11" dial is original, and shows some age related patina which really sets the clock off in my opinion. I didn't want to replace this wonderful dial with a brand new one as I felt it had loads of character. The 8-day movement has been checked and oiled, and is running beautifully, keeping very good time. The clock comes complete with key and pendulum. I would prefer the clock to be collected from my home, as even though well packaged in the past, glass fitted to bezels on clocks have been received broken. When collected, the new owner can see the clock operating correctly. I can work around any collection time as I work from home. No international bidders please. Thank you for viewing.
