Vintage 1950'S Flip Perpetual Calendar Desk Writing Set Quill Ink Pot Pen Tray

Here we have a superb vintage desk set. This includes a pen rest/holder, quill holder, inkwell and a perpetual calendar. This comes fully working and is a cool "flip" calendar where the date changes as its revolved - I'm not too sure how this functions but it's a really cool invention! The knobs to either side allow you to change the month and day too, all  fully working. The wood has a beautiful transfer design. I have been unable to find another like this - I would assume this is from around the 1950's or 60's. A wonderful thing, a perfect accompaniment to any retro desk. It measures just over 6.75 inches by 3.5 inches by 3 inches. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
