PLEASE NOTE: I have just received some excellent quality clocks from a private collection all of which have been well looked after all of which will be listed over the next few weeks. Some excellent quality clocks this being one of them  



This clock is a beautiful antique directors mahogany triple fusee musical 8 bell bracket clock of superb proportions and of the highest quality in excellent condition for age

The case features a carved dome top
design with a solid bronze ormolu carry handle to he centre and matching finials to each corner. The case has matching brass fretwork panel on either side with red silk material behind them, the clock has a hinged back door with fretwork panel and matching red silk, the door has its original working lock and key

The case is in great condition for age and looks amazing wherever it is displayed totally orginal as you can see in the pictures

The mahogany case has a absolutely stunning colour and patina to it which is acquired through age. This is exactly how i have received it and it looks 100% better in the flesh

The clock features a high quality brass and silvered dial with matted centre and 2 subsidary dials to the top arch and original bronze ormolu spandrels that are in amazing condition. The two subsidary dials to top both do a job, One is for Silent/Chime and the one to the right is a selection dial to choose between the different musical chimes either on 8 bells or 4 bells, it has a silvered chapter ring with raised brass arabic numerals and original english hands again all in great original condition protected by its thick bevelled glazed hinged door with original working lock and key

The English triple fusee movement is absoulutely fantastic striking on 8 bells. The quarter chiming musical chimes every quarter of an hour on 8/4 bells and the hourly strike on a seperate gong on the hour after the musical chimes have finished playing. 

The movement is in perfect working order so is chiming superbly and ticks away beautifully as you can see and hear from the video above

The movement has a silent/strike option so you can switch the chime off if you wanted. The movement comes with its original pendulum all working fantastically keeping perfect time as you would expect from a high quality clock and sounds absolutely stunning when playing the 4 bells/8 bell tunes

The mechanism comes with a 6 month return to base warranty for extra piece of mind, please see the terms and conditions below

The clock measures an impressive 19 inches high x 12.75 inches wide x 9 inches deep

6 Months Return To Base Warranty On Mechanism

All our clocks are tested for a minimum of 1 week before listing onto ebay and working condition is clearly stated above

 

No matter how well antique clocks have been serviced they will need final adjusting and setting into beat after transport and a professional person is advised and may be required in order to do this

 

If on the rare occassion you receive a clock that has a problem or does not work after initial set up and adjusting by a professional person then we reserve the right for you to return the mechanism for repair by myself

There will be no refunds if the mechanism needs repair. I reserve the right for the mechanism to be returned to me for repair 

I offer a 6 months return to base warranty on all my mechanisms (unless stated not working in description)

In case of a problem after a professional has attempted to set the clock up you can return the mechanism back to me for repair

Please do not take the mechanism to a local clock maker/repairer as this will render the warranty void. All repairs needed to the mechanism will be carried out by myself and not by a 3rd party clock maker/repairer unless agreed by myself beforehand. please contact me in the first instance to arrange return of the mechanism for repair by myself

Shipping the mechanism back to me will be at the buyers cost and i will pay to get the mechanism back to you after repair

All repair costs will be met by myself for 6 months after purchase. If a mechanism is faulty after 6 months then i can offer a repair service for a discounted price but this cost will be met by the buyer if after 6 months of purchase

I can also offer a repair service and servicing of all antique clocks at a good rate for other clocks in your collection etc. Please contact me for a quote if you have another movement that requires servicing
