Seller: drgoldwing54 (135) 100%, Location: Hexham, Ships to: Free Local Pickup, Item: 132217778170 This listing is for a Long case clock that was made I am told around 1840 to 1860, it is in working order and chimes on the hour, it has one or two blemishes but for its age is in good condition, there is a slight ripple on the bottom left of the dial door, see pic, and three small flakes off the face,see pic, and at some stage in its life someone ran it without making sure it was vertical so the pendulum scraped the rear of the case but it is not affected by it now as when we got it a clock expert put it in for us. It has no worm alive or dead The size of the clock is 92" tall 21" across the dial door 16" from bottom of dial door to top of base 20" from top of base to bottom of base, 9.5" wide across works housing, 7" across on main body, 9" across on base bottom It is also known as a cottage clock as it does not have rear legs as it was supported by the skirting board. The makers name is Mark Middlemass Newcastle upon Tyne It is collection only and can be viewed between a Friday after 4 and a Sunday before 4 I have been told it is possible for a Courier to take it but the cost could be?
