Between the two sections are two small drawers. It originally had 4 shelf surfaces, but has been adapted with discreet shelf supports to accommodate four additional removable shelves (I have three). It now makes an ideal cupboard for dozens of shoes! With the two drawers for laces and polishes etc. NB Buyer will need to help carry it down from second floor of house. It's not very heavy but needs two people.
