If we start with the dial this is a white dial marked out with Roman numerals, and has lovely shaped fingers. The bezel is cast brass. There is also a catch mechanism for closing and releasing the dial. The dial is in lovely original condition. The dial is signed 'BUNYAN & GARDNER Market Place MANCHESTER', which is a little faded in places. There is one side door which allows the movement to be viewed when opened. There is also a door in the base of the clock which allows the pendulum to be hung, this is complete with its lock but there is no key. The dial and movement are held in place with wooden pegs.
