Item:392448043549Antique, Shelf / mantle Cuckoo clock, sold for restoration, made by, Gordian Hettich & Sohn in Furtwangen in the Black Forest region of Germany, around the late 1800s. The case is in overall good condition but obviously will require a bit of restoration, there are a few small spots of paint on the case which can be seen in the pictures, a bit of the fretwork is missing off the right corner which can be seen in the pictures but it is barely noticeable as it is quite ornate, the bellows will need replacing which can be seen in the pictures, the movement appears to be in working order but will obviously need a clean and service etc, it is stamped, GHS for the makers name and number 103, the pendulum is a Davall , whether it is original to the clock I do not know but it looks to be from the same era and is obviously the correct length. The back door of the case has 2215 written on the outside, I understand it was common practise to write the model number on the door so it may be model 2215. It measures, 18 inches high, 7 inches deep and 13 inches wide, it is available for collection from Doncaster or I will post worldwideCondition:Sold as a restoration project., Age:Antique, Pre-1900, Type:Mantle / Table clock, Clock Type:Cuckoo clock, Style/ Origin/ Theme:Black Forest
