Description:

A silver page turner shaped bookmark with a Bakelite handle made by Charles Horner. After WW1 Charles Horner were one of the first companies to use new plastics. The Bakelite handle is pinned to the silver blade.

Weighs 3.6 grams.

Identifying Marks / Makers Marks: Stamped "?H" (maker Charles Horner, the C has not come out), the lion passant (for silver), a shield (Chester) and the date letter is rubbed.
Age / date of manufacture:

1920 's.

Size: Measures 3 1/8" (just under 8 cm) long.
Condition: In excellent undamaged condition. Has been used so has some surface marks on the silver (please see the photographs).
