A decorative pair of Edwardian sterling silver napkin rings decorated with a pierced design of thistles on either side of a cartouche. Each cartouche has a different monogram. I believe the maker to be Alexander and Lawson with the Assay mark being for Birmingham and the date letter being for 1909. Combined weight of both napkin rings is 67 grams. Condition. Both napkin rings are in good condition with no damage although you might say there is the odd hint of a bend to an edge. There are no repairs. Light surface scratches mostly to the flat base. The odd tarnish spot but these napkin rings have been polished. Approx size. Max length along the flat bottom is 50mm. Max height 36mm. Max width which is across the monogram is 36mm.
