Victorian Glass Perfume Atomiser Bottle Sterling Silver With Blue Enamel Collar Early 20th Century
The following wording is found around the edge of the bronze plunger....
Pro. Pat. 204c.
The above wording was tapped in to the metal
Pat is Patent, which put simply, helps protect a product
This is a really beautiful glass perfume Atomiser
It has a lovely swirly light blue enamel collar, which measures 3cm and sits nicely on the lip of the perfume bottles neck
The lip & neck is sterling silver & measures 2cm
The plunger is removable by a screwing mechanism and is made of, I believe brass
When the plunger is pushed down there is essence of an exotic perfume
The bottle itself is crystal cut but in a less vibrant style to some other perfume bottles
The bottle is divided in to 5 main glass panels that then join to the base
Height 12cm
Width 10.5cm
Weight 294.5g
To the outer edges of the bottle there is minimal chipping
The plunger is in need of a good clean
The neck also because of the tarnish that is generally there, which is usually as a result of perfume and silver, mixing not so well together but what a great combination!
The glass itself is also in need of a good wipe down and polish
