Antique Late Georgian / Early Victorian Old Sheffield Plate Condiment Cruet c 1830/50
A beautiful antique condiment cruet on four classical feet, a handle with embossed flowers and scrolls and embossed edges featuring the Scottish Thistle, the English Rose and the Trefoil of Ireland, The cruet has five cut glass condiment bottles: two for oil & vinegar, two for salt and pepper and one mustard jar. The latter has probably been replaced because it has slightly different details, although the cut is similar.
In good condition - it is an item which is at least hundred and eighty years old - with minor wear on the embossed edges were one can spot the copper underneath, and few dark spots. The cut glass bottles have few chips. The pierced caps of salt and pepper shakers are the original ones, and need some restoration.
