Antique Victorian Brass Bun Weights - 2 & 4 oz Nottingham

A pair of antique Victorian brass bun weights from Nottingham in the 2 oz and 4 oz size – marked with both the Nottingham mark and the VR 7 mark for Nottingham. As can be seen from the pictures they are in very good condition. I have listed these together as they nest well, are marked he same and always appear to have been together.

To note :- I have listed another 2 Nottingham bun weights, but these do not nest with the others – for anyone who was considering putting a set together.

Postage and Packing

Buyer pays for postage at cost (see below).

I DO NOT CHARGE for packing.

Please note that I only pack an item once a bid has been placed. This means that as Ebay requires me to include a postage figure on the listing, that postage figure will be an estimate only and for second class post, but is likely to be fairly accurate. However, once a bid has been placed and the item packed I can then on request give an accurate postage figure, as well as other options for posting eg first class, recorded etc. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A PAYMENT BASED ON THE POSTAGE FIGURE QUOTED ON THE LISTING AS IT MAY BE INCORRECT. Once the auction has ended I will confirm the correct total payment due by Ebay message or invoice. I reserve the right not to dispatch an item if a premature payment is made, but not made in full.

I will consider posting items overseas, but take notice of the section on postage costs below, if you are considering bidding from abroad. Feel free to ask me for a postage quote as I can give an estimate, or the actual postage cost if the item is already packed.

I will always - where possible - try to combine postage.

Please don’t bid on an item if you don’t intend to pay for it. If you need to clarify anything please do so at your earliest convenience beforehand, as I may not be around at the time the auction closes.

If you are new to Ebay please don’t use me for buying practice by bidding, not paying and not communicating. If you have any issues about anything get in touch or ask me for advice. We were all new to Ebay once. I do not want to prevent any potential Customers from bidding due to no feedback, or low feedback scores.

Although I charge for postage at cost, payments made by Paypal incur a fee on the postage amount. In order not to lose out, I have therefore had to pass this charge on to Customers. The postage figure quoted will be that as per Post Office price list, but will include an extra 10%.

Payment as quickly as possible - if only to save on numerous trips to the Post Office - but within 7 days of auction closing date unless agreed specifically with me.
