This impressive book case has an inverted break front moulded edge cornice above 2 glazed doors with column sides. The inverted break front 2 door base has a moulded frieze and Gothic style doors with inset panels, carved columns to the sides and standing on a break front plinth with impressive 5 sided column feet. The sides are in solid oak and the back in pine- which is usual.  The interior of the book case has the original Gothic black paint finish. The top shelves are adjustable in height. The bottom section has one shelf. Doors top and bottom have brass bolts for secure closure and a working key top and bottom.  Comes into 2 parts for transport.  When in situ the top section screws to the bottom.  A very impressive quality Gothic book case.  Condition very good with some marks of use and age. Dimensions: max width across the cornice 120 cm max depth across the base 49 cm height 193 cm depth of the top shelves 19 cm depth of the bottom shelf 30 cm
