Antique fabric French printed blue floral rococo scroll block printed cotton old

Spectacular! ~~ this wonderful antique French fabric dates c1870 and is 100% printed using hand carved wooden blocks. Stunning design, very high quality fabric  ~*~  The pattern is a lovely rococo floral and scrolling vine design . This fabric is a medium weight , linen and cotton blend, very finely woven. The cotton content is higher than the linen content. The colors are wonderful! They include: BEAUTIFUL Prussian blue, deep olive green, browns ~ I've chosen to keep this stunning fabric in unwashed, as found condition as the ground tone has aged BEAUTIFULLY ~ wonderful warm antique off-white tone that only time can achieve. There are pale age marks on this fabric , adding to the beautiful patina of this fabric ~ Ideal for light upholstery, pillows, framing, lampshades, window treatments etc . Condition ~ : This gorgeous fabric is in as found, not freshly laundered condition with light storage dust. There are pale age and storage marks on this piece ( please see photographs) ~ lovely indeed!! ~*~
