Item:392499504226This is a re-listing of some clock movements in various states of quality (and in need of a clean) from a previous eBay auction of mine. The original buyer only wanted one of the original eight, so the remaining seven are back again. Total packed weight will be around 10kg. Quick observations on movements are below. Where I say springs are ‘good’, I simply mean that there is tension there. I’ve not taken them out and inspected them. Comments aren’t designed to be comprehensive. If you specifically want to know if a part is there, please contact me and ask. Equally, if you want more pictures, please ask. Pictures 3 & 4 & 5 Baduf: Four hammer Westminster chiming. Marked ‘Patent No 379092’ and some other lettering I can’t make out (see image 5). Springs appear to be ok. Missing suspension spring and hammers. Unmarked movement: Polished plate striking movement. Springs seem ok. Missing striking arm. Suspension / pendulum are good. Pictures 6 & 7 & 8 Perivale: Strike spring presumed broken or loose. Number of wheels missing from the strike and time train. ‘Emil Schmeckenbechef’: German weight driven movement with three hammers. Missing suspension spring and pendulum. Trains look to be complete. See image 8 for inscription. Pictures 9 & 10 ’Foreign’: Presume German movement. Broadly complete. Missing click spring on strike side, time spring not acting on click properly. Hammer missing from strike rod. ’British Made’, possibly Perivale: Striking movement, springs are tight. Looks like some previous re-bushing work has been done. Appears pretty compete, although suspension spring is slightly bent. Pictures 11 & 12 ’Haller’: Striking movement. Springs seems ok. Looks pretty complete. Not sure suspension spring is original.Featured Refinements:Clock Spares, Sub-Type:Movements, Type:Clock Parts, Clock Type:Mantel/ Carriage Clock
