Ushanka is Russian winter uniform hat of soldiers of the armed forces of the Soviet Union.
Gost 1076-86 - Artificial fur caps with ear-flaps for servicemen.
· New, unused.
· Grey-blue colour.
· Made in USSR in 1987-1992.
· The cap with ear-flaps is soldier's, warehousing.
· The stamp inside the hat of the earflap can differ from the picture in the photo - different manufacturers.
Size 60cm is rare.
Size 62cm is very rare.
How to measure your head & choose the right hat size:
• Wrap a measuring tape around head, 1.5 cm (5/8 in.) above eyebrows & ears
If you don't have a tape measure, use a string and then measure the string
• Add 2 cm or 0.8 inches to the measurement and compare with the size chart
• If in between 2 sizes, go to the larger size

An ushanka (Russian: уша ́ нка ; IPA: [ ʊˈʂ ank ə ], lit. "ear hat"), also called an ushanka-hat (Russian: ша ́ пка - уша ́ нка ; IPA: [ ˈʂ apk ə ʊˈʂ ank ə ]), or informally a "Russian hat" is a Russian fur cap with ear flaps that can be tied up to the crown of the cap, or fastened at the chin to protect the ears, jaw and lower chin from the cold. The dense fur also offers some protection against blunt impacts to the head.
The word ushanka derives from ushi ( у ́ ши ), "ears" in Russian.
Authentic, came from a military warehouse. Has stamps inside.
Hat with ear-flaps soldiers with artificial fur, grey is for the soldier's composition. Headgear is used in the winter season, it is protected from severe frost and cold wind.
Artificial fur does not collect dirt and dust, easy to clean. It is very pleasant to the touch and comfortable to wear.
So, the fur is very warm and resistant to rain and snow.
Warm, comfortable, stylish and inexpensive Ushanka can be worn with earflaps tied on top, pulled down for extra warmth and comfort or tied at the back covering neck but leaving cheeks open.
The badge is metal. It will be included not attached.
