Seller: 8797matt (179) 100%, Location: Stirling, Ships to: GB, US, AU, Item: 323449449906 Relisted at a more realistic and therefore sellable price.I am open to reasonable discussion. As of today 16/09/18 the bike has been SORNED which applies from the end of the month. It's sitting on charge in the garage and it'll get a new ACF-50 while its there as it won't be ridden. Bmw GS Adventure TU. 2010My much loved BM is up for sale- I’ve had it for 3.5 years and loved every minute. If you’re looking at this you should know all about these bikes. I bought it for touring Europe and it’s never missed a beat through Scotland, the Alps, all round Europe, mountains and everything else. Its big tank does it’s job perfectly and is comfortable even on 500 mile days. ABS, Esa- which works a treat when fully loaded! BMW aluminium panniers- which I take off and use as a seat when I’ve been camping, a BMW tank bag is included. The photos show a Ram mount for my satnav which is hard wired but not included. I’ve also just removed a usb connector which was wired into the battery- and I had on my bars to charge phone and kindle in the tank bag. Worked for me when in Europe for a couple of weeks at a time. Easy to fit if required. Sintered brake pads front and rear replaced April this year along with new tyres Michelin Road trail 5’s - excellent tyres for big bikes and sure footed in the wet. I’ve probably done 1000 miles only since brakes and tyres were replaced. I do the occasional commute, plenty of long trips and quite often tighten up the suspension, take off the panniers and go for a blast! It’s a powerful bike and will surprise some sports bikes if it’s ridden well. Beautiful handling, plenty of grunt and torque and is planted- easy to flick through the twisties despite its bulk- which is deceptive. I’m 5’10” and I can get both feet virtually flat using the esa and the lower seat setting. Weather protection is superb. It’s 8 years old and is in pretty good nick - having done 36k miles with a BMW service history in the service book. I have loads of receipts and old mot’s - it’s never had an advisory. It’s been ridden in all weathers and had some good tours but it’s not a showroom machine- it’s been ridden. It has been dropped- the right side engine guard has taken a tarmac slide at about 10mph which I’ve shown in the picture- which also scraped the bottom pannier corners- also shown in the photos. Cosmetic only. Minor dent in the left one. The tank bag is missing one of the hard foam inserts but it still sits on the tank perfectly. I just can’t be bothered to fabricate another one. Minor light scratches on left hand side of tank which are hardly noticeable. It’s been treated with ACF-50 regularly and looked after. A bit of paint flaking on the engine front which happens on these bikes but that’s it. I am in no rush to sell but I’ve just bought a multistrada - I really don’t need the long range capability of the GSA anymore. The mileage may go up slightly- but not a lot. It’s priced realistically and to sell and am up for offers and discussion but reserve the right to end the auction early as it’s advertised elsewhere. Test rides? Sure- with a big bundle of cold hard cash in my hand ( the asking price) and proof of insurance. **** Friday 9th September - Full years MOT as of this morning**** Feel Free to contact me if you're seriously interested to ask any questions or discuss a sale.Matt 07535 515155 Winning bidders - if any! £100 PayPal deposit (non- refundable) with bike released for collection or courier on bank transfer of funds. Non-payment or hokey bids - you'll be reported - this is trust based after all and it works both ways. Balance within 3 working days and cleared funds need to be seen in my account- this is perfectly fair given the amount we're talking about, alternative is cold hard cash.
