History: Bought in from our supplier who had this cornet as a trade in (part exchange) for a Wilson Celebration Cornet. We bought this in as a stock item as it is in lovely used condition. It has been in our stock room for the last couple of years so we have given the instrument a proper overhaul. The instrument has been stripped down to its major components and these have been given a bath in warm brass soap to give them a clean. That said the instrument had been well looked after and it was pretty nice inside out. The instrument has been re-assembled and the slides greased and the valves have been lubricated. Finally the whole instrument has been given a light sympathetic polish with silver polish to bring up its full lustre. The valves move fast and accurately and the slides move cleanly including the trigger mechanisms for the main and third slides. Overall Condition: As expected with a second-hand instrument there are some signs of wear (which you would expect with use). I have done my best to photograph the areas for your attention. 1. Slight scratches inside (on one area) of the bell flare - very light almost imperceptible to the naked eye. 2. Some light scratches near the third trigger spring - again very slight and almost un-noticeable. 3. One micro ding about 3 cms from the mouthpiece receiver (see photo) - its hard to see on the photo! 4. Some wear and tear on the outside of the hard case - as its done its job (still in very nice condition though). Items for Sale:

In Use: This instrument would suit a Professional Brass Band Player or a student who is looking for their first professional grade Cornet at a reasonable price. As expected professional cornets are harder to blow, offering greater resistance. Though that being said when you slot a note it produces a lovely warm tone that will blend in well that is typical of the British Brass Band genre.
