Klotz pure copper 2 core speaker cable is made in Germany and is one of the best speaker cables around. We have been using Klotz speaker cables for a number of year on our custom made speaker leads we sell here on ebay. The cable is very flexible, this is due the twin-axial twisted pair design along with fine copper stands of conductors 224 x 0.15mm giving it a total conductor area of 4 mm² of copper per core . The cable is 11 mm overall diameter and is perfect for power amplifier outputs to passive speaker setups. Klotz have been making cable for many decades and also have there own website unlike many other unbranded cable suppliers. When choosing a speaker cable it is vital to choose a cable that can be trusted, have technical spec that can be seen on the makers website, that is made of copper (not steel or worse copper coated low grade steel wire), can be easily coiled up after use and not kink. We looked at many cables to make our custom made leads with and we decided on Klotz cables simply because of the specs which are better than or match other branded cables. Once we had samples of the cable we were sold on Klotz. Did you know that a bass speaker will draw much more current at certain frequencies? If the copper inside the cable you are using is pure not copper it will cause a power drop across the cable thus reducing the frequency response at that frequency. If you are making Speakon leads with this cable please use Neutrik NL4FX (max cable diameter 7 mm to 14.5 mm) and not NL2FX (max cable diameter 6 mm to 10 mm max) This cable when cut will be supplied without reel - If you order a long length of cable and you require the cable cut up into shorter lengths please ask, we can do this.
