The process of buying a property in Bulgaria goes is easy as long as you have a Company if you are not EU-resident citizen.  

If you are a European citizen, you do not need a Company.   

You can easily open a Bulgarian company which is not obliged to have any activity in the company other than holding properties, yearly taxes for property and land are cheap in Bulgaria.
