Today we are pleased to offer to the public an exclusive opportunity to purchase the first batch of maps and plats from our extensive historical archives, which provide a unique perspective into the development of Chicago and its surrounding suburbs. It is well documented that the founder of our business, Samuel Greeley, personally worked with, then attorney, Abraham Lincoln as an Expert Witness in two famous Landmark court cases about land disputes near Navy Pier in downtown Chicago. We own a collection of drawing from before the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, that were used as courts’ exhibits in the above noted cases. Mr. Greeley prepared some of the Exhibits, as well as, copied and certified some other maps and plats for the courts. This collection will be available for purchase shortly.
