Item:274358566024~ Circa 1790 Fine 8 Day Welsh Longcase Clock By Evan Williams Of Neath ~ This is a fine quality clock with an engraved brass dial featuring moon and tidal indication (High water at Neath). The face bears the clock-smiths name on its middle section and has a subsidiary dial for seconds and an arched date aperture. The main numerals, for hours, are Roman and the secondary ones, for minutes, are Arabic. The clock is a 8 day twin train movement with an anchor escapement and hour repeat.
