The late Queen Elizabeth the second crown.
Height 4 1/2 inches approx.
Width 3 1/3 inches approx.
A very nice collectible item.
The helmet plate centre is the coats of arms of Bournemouth in the shape of a shield. It contains two lions both of which are holding a roses which represent the county of Hampshire. Six birds with no legs represent swallows and lastly four salmon represent those to be found in the river sour.
The centre circle is supported by an outer circle stating, BOURNEMOUTH POLICE. The plate has a recognisable eight point Brunswick Star (one of which is covered by the royal crown.
The helmet plate is supported on the reverse by three ethree eyed shank fittings.
