1794 Franklin Press Token London Plain Edge Cut Error? - 1794 Franklin Press Token London Plain Edge Cut. A very nice Token in high grade, it’s an English trade token and for Benjamin Franklin’s business in London, but is included in the Colonial section of the USA Res Book. It’s detracted by the cut on the Reverse. I say cut rather than scratch since it is straight and about center, it’s simply too clean and exact and I would offer that appears to have been cut when made as this was no accident, it’s too deep and too perfect. It may be an error coin that was meant to be discarded?I am offering it for sale. It was acquired in Germany from a large collector and this was their opinion. Please see my other items!
