Compact S/E O/P transformer for valve circuits, checked. Here's a compact little output transformer intended for single ended valve output use. The turns ratio is 42:1, the primary is rated at 45mA and can be used where an anode load impedance of 7000 ohms is required. The secondary is for a 4 ohm loudspeaker. Connections are on sturdy looking tags on the top of the transformer, the coil former is plastic, indicating manufacture from the late 1960's onwards. You can, of course, mess around with your impedances if you know what you're doing....It is small: it measures only 46mm wide, (plus fixings, centres at 52mm), 38mm tall and around 35mm at its deepest point across the windings. It's a small stack, only 14mm deep. This transformer would be fine for use with a variety of valve types, EL90/EL95/EL84/ECL82/ECL86 to name several... It has had every kind of meter put on it including a Megger so you don't have to bother with all that. It's a good 'un!
